UI/UX design refers to two closely connected yet distinct disciplines within product design. UX (User Experience) Design focuses on the overall journey a user has with a product—how it feels, how it functions, and how seamlessly it solves user problems. UI (User Interface) Design, on the other hand, is concerned with the visual and interactive elements users engage with, such as layouts, typography, colors, and controls.

While UI and UX work hand in hand to create meaningful digital experiences, their roles differ in purpose and execution. UX defines the structure and logic of the experience, while UI brings that experience to life through polished, intuitive visuals. Together, they form the foundation of successful, user-centered product development.

In relation to websites and apps, UI design considers the look, feel, and interactivity of the product. It’s all about making sure that the user interface of a product is as intuitive as possible, and that means carefully considering each and every visual, interactive element the user might encounter.
